Nakusp Suffercross CX Bike Race Course Map:
The Sufferfest Cyclocross will be a TRADITIONAL or CLASSIC STYLE Cyclocross using a 2.5-3 KM course and completing multiple loops of the course within a time limit.
The race course will be set up around the Nakusp Recreation Park. The course will be expertly designed using berms, fields, corners and obstacles. It will wind back and forth with stakes and flagging to mark the course.
A Mountain Bike or Cross bike can be used in the open and junior categories. A CX bike is necessary for the Elite category.
This event is intended for both experienced and inexperienced riders and can be taken seriously – or not! It is fun, challenging and exciting for spectators!
This year for the second time we are adding an Adaptive CX Race!
Participants of diverse abilities are invited to come out and try a new course designed just for adaptive athletes.
