Nakusp Road Bike Invitational – Fondo & Hill Climb
Hill Climb – Road Race
This is a two-day event with a Hill Climb on the afternoon of May 6 all the way to the Nakusp Hot Springs, so there is the possibility of a rejuvenating soak at the end, a great prep for the next day’s road race!
Pick your pleasure and your distance for the May 7 Road Race along the scenic mountain highway between Nakusp and Trout Lake. In celebration of Nakusp’s 125th anniversary, cyclists will have the opportunity to ride a challenging 125 km turnaround route that includes lake views and roadside waterfalls. For those wanting the beauty of the route but less mileage, there are a 75 km ride to Halcyon and back or to the lovely Ione Falls and back.
There will be aid stations stocked with food, water and friendly volunteers available along the course.
